This one-hour webinar delves into the world of global engagement at community colleges, with a special focus on the vibrant Asian region. Community colleges continue to play a pivotal role in providing equitable access for students of all backgrounds to engage in global learning.
Dr. Geoff Bradshaw of Madison Area Technical College and Dr. Dawn Wood of Kirkwood Community College will present on their experience and background developing meaningful connections for learning, engagement and collaboration in Asia. From cultural exchanges to academic partnerships, we will discuss how global engagement hinges on strategic relationship. We will explore innovative strategies for attracting and supporting international students and hear inspiring stories of how community colleges have engaged in this region, both lessons learned and challenges faced. Asia is not a monolith. It is a kaleidoscope of cultures, languages, and traditions. We will delve into the richness of the region and explore the myriad of ways community colleges can engage.
