I loved studying in a different country, it allowed me to have a different perspective on how other cultures approach school.

When I was there, I met people from all over. In my class over there, there were at most two people from the same country. It was just so interesting getting to know them and hearing about how they grew up, what their schools are like and just kind of how different we all are.

While i was there I did an internship at the American Corner it was an internship where we got to interact with the community, and I got to meet so many people from Budapest. I got to learn so many different things about it and what it's like to live there. And it was so much fun getting to learn about other cultures and learn about others. I got to learn so much about the Hungarian culture and about just simple things that Hungarians do differently than us. It wasn't just in my internship. I had a teacher who knew that most of us were studying abroad, and she made a point to share with us things that we should do while we're in Budapest holidays and traditions, and things that are important to their culture.

I loved it so much, I'm a tiny bit bummed that I had to come back to MSU and finish up my degree. But I'm also really excited to be able to be at MSU for a full year. This is my first full year on campus because of everything that went on with COVID-19 and my study abroad. So, I just want to say thank you so much for helping me accomplish what I accomplished in Budapest.
