Dr. Mohammed Ayoob is a University Distinguished Professor Emeritus of International Relations from Michigan State University; a Non-Resident Senior Fellow, Center for Global Policy, Washington DC; columnist for the National Interest (Washington DC), the Hindu (India), and The Strategist (Australia). He has authored or edited fifteen books and over one hundred research articles analyzing the security of post-colonial states, political Islam, the Middle East, and South Asia. The second edition of his book The Many Faces of Political Islam: Religion and Politics in Muslim Societies will be published in January 2020 by the University of Michigan Press.
