Flag Description:
The Cambodian flag consists of three horizontal bands of blue (top), red (double width), and blue with a white three-towered temple representing Angkor Wat in the center of the red band. The colors of the flag reflect the trilogy of "Nation, Religion and King," the motto of the Khmer Monarchy: blue symbolizes the royalty, red symbolizes the nation, and white symbolizes the religion, which in the beginning was Brahmanism but is now mainly Buddhism.
